Tom Griffith is Chief Philanthropy Officer and responsible for the creation and implementation of a comprehensive development program to accomplish the goals set forth in the Community Foundation of Central New York’s strategic plan. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, with highest honors, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as well as the Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®, and Accredited Estate Planner® designations. Tom currently serves as a board member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, the Estate Planning Council of Central New York and WCNY, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Upstate New York Planned Giving Council. Tom lives in East Syracuse with his wife Kelly Griffith and children David (24) and Jessica (22).
