What Every Estate and Financial Planning Professional Should KnowAbout Special Needs Planning

This program will discuss the tools we use to plan for access and continued eligibility to the means tested government benefits. Specifically, there will be a discussion of means tested government benefits and their importance, First Party Special Needs Trusts, Third Party Supplemental Needs Trusts, Pooled Trusts, and ABLE Accounts. We will discuss drafting for flexibility and recommendations to fiduciaries for managing these arrangements in a complex, strained and ever-changing service delivery system.
